Eden 04:40
Take that step towards your destination The feeling only comes with birth in this nation Force those blinders off Feel your way through the rough You complain, you abstain Holding back will lead to fear Stroll with me, please take my hand Do you want to understand? Walk with me, please take my arm Do you want to comprehend? You're in the Garden of Good + Evil The Garden....of Good + Evil What to make of fate? Decide your destiny. Secrets in the stars...relatives in Mars You remain, you don't gain Your insides hold all the tears Stroll with me, please take my hand Do you want to comprehend? Walk with me, please take my arm Do you want to understand? You're in the Garden of Good + Evil The Garden....of Good + Evil You're walkin in the garden...stuck in the gates You're walkin in the garden....you hate The Garden of Good + Evil

Boats 04:32
Saw you standing there With your long dark hair Ocean shades of blue Float on sailboats, too Your love is like the sea And this love runs deep I'm lookin at the sky You're up too high You're high Hold on....high Your love's a poetry Mine's all green Jealousy for you, and your long hair too Flower shades of blue Float on sailboats, too The wind does not belong We have our own song Have our own song You're high HIGH

Shalango 06:04
I see you Walking around You feel the ground It shakes your body.... First, a tremble It shakes your soul Hold on to your world... You see a flash, but hear no sound It's electric soul thunder I know you Pacing the space You make the case That it moves your soul. Roll of thunder, hear our cries Send it to the skies Remember the dreams That told this day Hold on to your way... You can dance (You can dance, you will dance) x 2 You can dance, it's thunder in your veins You can dance, like fire on ice Let your heart into the storm Release your mind, break from the norm x 2 Break from the norm

Hold your heart, this is gonna be a strange ride She will bring more to your life She's comin in without warning She sneaks up on you, the cupid's bow strikes A pierce to make you unafraid of love's lessons in life You fall, into oblivion... She will tempt you so far Your mind will be locked on her, locked on her, locked on..... Her. Her. Hits ya like a bang, attraction is insane Curve balls always thrown, We stay ready and willing To make it neverending. You start to feel when their eyes Capture a nice surprise Connections in cosmic lines Your world stops to fantasize You fall into entanglement.... Oblivion.... She will tempt you so far Your mind will be locked on her, locked on her, locked on..... Her. Her.

Blues 05:28
Seize the day it's right in front of your eyes Seize the day don't wear no disguise The words are pulled right from inside you… Summer's song when you know it's through. It's through No voids to fill, no dreams to catch-- The trampoline is missing The dog is on its back The words were pulled right from inside you Summer's song when you know it's through The dog is gone That dog has lost his way Where were you? To seize the day-- The dream is gone You heard his news So find your song And forget your blues

& Why? 06:03
Composition by Daniel Frankhuizen + Beat the Grid Lyrics by Daniel Frankhuizen + Hayden Eager

about

WE STARTED BEAT THE GRID TO CREATE VALUE IN OUR LIVES. WE MAKE THIS MUSIC FOR THE RUSH OF MOVEMENT IT INCITES IN OUR ACHING BODIES, THE SCENES IT PAINTS IN OUR STRAINED EYES AND THE FOCUS IT GIVES TO OUR MANIC MINDS. WE PLAY, SING, AND DANCE IN ORDER TO RATTLE AND CHURN THE SENSES, WHICH HEALS, RENEWS AND SUSTAINS OURSELVES. THIS ALBUM IS INSPIRED BY THE MULTITUDE OF EXISTENCES OUT THERE AND THE SOUNDS THEY MAKE. AS HAVE THE STORIES AND PHILOSOPHIES OF OUR ANCESTORS, THESE SOUNDS AND RHYTHMS, FROM MUSIC OF MANY REACHES, HAVE WAITED WITH BEAUTIFUL SUSPENSE TO COMBINE AND BE REBORN IN THE COLLECTIVE MIND OF BEAT THE GRID. FROM THE DAY WE WERE BORN, THESE SOUNDS TRAVELED ACROSS THE GLOBE, FOUND A WAY INTO OUR EARS, STEWED IN OUR MINDS AND INFORMED OUR DECISIONS. VOICES WITH FOREIGN INFLECTIONS TAUGHT US NEW FEELINGS THAT WE WILL NEVER TRULY BE ABLE TO MAKE WORDS CONFORM TO DESCRIBE. LAYERS OF POLYPHONY STACKED AND MELDED IN OUR UNCONSCIOUS AND SET THE PACE AS WE WALKED FORWARD TO NEW PLACES. WE CAME TOGETHER, EACH HEART BEATING WITH ANCIENT RHYTHMS, AND THIS IS WHAT HAS ERUPTED OUT OF US. WE DEDICATE THIS AND ALL OUR WORKS TO ALL CREATORS PAST AND PRESENT.
